The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features numerous intriguing side adventures, but few are as unique as A Call From The Depths. This captivating quest takes players across the iconic Great Plateau and deep into the underground darkness to assist a mysterious entity. Completing this task requires clever problem-solving, construction using Zonai devices, and careful navigation of environmental hazards.
Starting the Quest on the Great Plateau
To begin this side adventure, travel to the stone wall south of Gatepost Town Ruins near the Great Plateau. Destroying the cracked boulders blocking the archway drains the flooded area above and reveals a hidden entrance. Speaking with the stone statue just inside directs you toward the Temple of Time Ruins to pray at the Goddess Statue.
Finding and Dropping the Four Eyes
The Goddess Statue marks four specific chasms located around the Great Plateau on your map. At each chasm, you must locate a missing eye hidden under rocks, encased in ice, or submerged in water. Once retrieved, throw each eye down into the darkness of the chasm and follow it down into the Depths.
Transporting Eyes Through the Depths
After diving into the Depths, locate the eye and assemble nearby Zonai devices to build customized vehicles. You can craft flying wings, minecarts, or wheeled cars to transport each eye safely to the Great Abandoned Central Mine. Delivering each eye to the large Bargainer Statue residing on the lower level restores its sight piece by piece.
Quest Rewards and Statue Features
Returning all four eyes triggers a dialogue where the restored Bargainer Statue offers a valuable reward. Players can choose between a full Heart Container or a Stamina Vessel without spending any Lights of Blessing. Furthermore, the statue functions as a vendor where you can trade Poes for rare items like armor pieces.
